Justine Taormino is a writer and coach living in Ojai, California with her little family: her husband, an almost 3-year-old daughter, and their rescue dog. Her favorite things include reading, hot beverages, good conversations, water of any kind (ocean, baths, rivers, rain), and all things self-development. She’s a highly sensitive Piscean INFJ who loves bringing people together and is obsessed with the experience of our experiences.
In today’s episode, Justine and I dive into the many ways that perfectionism and unrealistic expectations muck up your relationship with yourselves and others. Justine beautifully shares about how she has learned to stop judging her needs and start challenging the self-imposed restraints she had been placing around receiving what she needed. Through her wise advice and wonderful anecdotes, Justine reminds us how powerfully worthwhile it is to be emotionally honest and bring all of yourself into your relationships.
Justine is also a Tend graduate! During this episode she shared a little bit about her experience in Tend last year. If you are interested in joining me for Tend, you have until Friday to claim your seat. You can find out more by clicking this link.
